The haversack used by US soldiers during World War 1 and 2 was not liked. Originally developed in 1910, the haversack was a collection of flaps and straps that would be folded and strapped together to make a pack. The idea was that it could only carry the necessary items for soldiers.

This example was made for the Marine Corps, which can be differentiated by the more yellow color of the haversack and lack of "U.S." markings.

This haversack was used post-war by a Boy Scout, as seen by the Scout number on the inside.

Overall condition is good with one broken buckle (as seen in the photo provided).
