East German, Strichtarn, grenade pouch. Enough said.
 
These grenade pouches were used by the East German military during the Cold War. They would hold 3 hand grenades and would be strapped to the combat belt.
  
Assuming you do not have any grenades available, these actually make great ammo pouches for stripper and en bloc clips!
I've also seen many hikers use these to store quick necessities such as small first aid kits, snacks, or tools they might need in a pinch. 
 
They are in great condition with minimal wear, but since they are Cold War surplus, please expect some fading, stains, fraying, and/or small rust stains.
